A LITTLE ABOUT GEOFFREY'S

Who is Geoffrey? A definitely anal compulsive (or is it anal-compulsive?) and obsessive personality who has a passion and deep-seated love for the San Francisco Giants and high-end jewelry (in that order, too). He believes that he makes a significant difference in this world by educating people on the nuances of their jewelry. Geoffrey’s quest for the perfect jewelry experience for his customers runs in his genes (not to be confused with the bell-bottom jeans he loves to wear), as his dad was renowned San Francisco jeweler for almost 40 years and taught him that every customer deserves to be treated with polite respect. Of course, once he knows you, his bizarre sense of humor surfaces!! Since he is so anal and obsessive, our greatest joy in life is to interrupt him (several times) during his closing routine countdown, so that he has to start over!

SONNY: The Gentle Head Angel of Geoffrey’s. She attempts to keep all of us on the straight and narrow; (to no avail). She has been given the task to keep Geoffrey organized, but chaos seems to be hardwired into his DNA! She has a passion for diamonds, fabulous customer service and SHOPPING! Just how big is her closet?

NIKKO: Is the newest addition to our merry band of misfits.  He comes to Geoffrey’s via Washington, DC., as a Regional Manager for a high-end Jewelry company.  Nikko has been in the jewelry industry since 1993, is very professional and has a lot of class; don’t worry we’ll be able to correct that!! His eyes are already starting to pop out of his head and shortly we’ll have his head spinning ‘round and ‘round.  He is a smart one, too:  an Associate Business Management degree, Gemologist Certification from GIA, just to name a few.  Again, don’t worry he’s too smart for you ‘cause we be dumbing him down!

SHERRY: Head Wife and Geoffrey’s better half for more years than we care to mention! (Why is it that she looks younger each year and Geoffrey looks older?) She is the glue that binds and the creator of the more humorous parts of this presentation. She is also a Master Hypnotherapist (don’t worry...she only uses it on Geoffrey, not on customers).

WENDI: Our Jeweler Extraordinaire. She has been a jeweler…for a very long time! A fey spirit who is in reality a Harley riding babe, we know that one of these days her creative head pieces will connect with the mother ship! We often wonder what is really in that Wizard of Oz lunchbox.

WILLIAM: Is the youngest kid on the staff…by a lot of years!  Young blood is good though, right?  Us oldies get great pleasure throwing him under the bus and making him blush as often as possible. (William is actually more mature than us!) He’s been in the jewelry industry for 6 years.  He takes great pride in being our QC man.  William is very visual (from his hours and hours of playing video games) and is wonderful at assisting you in pulling jewelry designs swirling around in your head and translating them into a pen and paper design.

MICHAEL: One of the part time members of our team who has a true passion for the finest in quality. He is a kind hearted, gentle soul who fits in perfectly. But some of us think he is actually a Cosmopolitan Man of Mystery, sent to gather the dirt on all of us!

SHARON: Our pious bookkeeper who thankfully prays for us on a weekly, if not daily basis, and boy do we need it! She keeps us all fat and happy with all the homemade goodies that she brings into the store. Her battle cry every time we look at new jewelry to purchase for the store…DON’T SPEND TOO MUCH! Her favorite three letters in the English alphabet; QVC.

Robin the Chihuahua Doggie: Robin is our three-legged store mascot.  Unlike the rest of us, she is really sweet.  Robin belongs to Wendi the Jeweler.  We all gave Wendi a gift certificate to the county pound for her birthday December 2008.  Would you believe that instead of staying there as we had hoped, she came back with little puppy Robin?  And, yes, Robin’s picture.
